Join us – Art and Culture Professionals’ Trade Union TAKU, Artists’ Association of Finland and the Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers – for a thorough grant info at the Central Library Oodi on Thursday 5 September at 10 am – 4 pm.
In the event four major funding organisations of arts and
research – Finnish Cultural Foundation (SKR), Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike), Kone Foundation and Svenska Kulturfonden (SFK) – introduce their funding instruments and give tips for making a good grant application.
The programme is divided into two parts. In the morning session the funding organisations present their grant programmes in a joint info. During the afternoon, participants are able to book 20 minute appointments for personal counselling in writing a succesful application.
The event is open for everyone interested, but requires a pre-registration since the capacity is limited. Sign up by Friday 30 August. You can also follow the programme online which also requires the pre-registration. The morning session is held mainly in Finnish, but the materials will also be available in English. Questions and comments are welcome in English and the personal appointments can be in Finnish, English or Swedish (SKF).

There are 50 seats at the morning info session at Oodi. The seats are filled in order of the registration. The event is free of charge, but obligatory when registered. If you need to cancel, please make the cancellation by Tue 3rd Sept.
